I’ll assume since you clicked on this that you actually care to learn something about me. Still, I’m going to try to keep it short. I started prevost photography 24 years ago. At first I was content to do things the way all my colleagues did. But after a couple of years, I got really bored of taking the SAME pictures week after week. That was because I was following someone else’s formula of what wedding photography meant. When I realized that many people really didn’t want that, it freed me to explore other kinds of images to make on a wedding day. That exploration continues to this day.Does that mean none of my shots are similar to someone else’s? Of course not. No one is that good—or crazy! I know what my clients expect from me. They want a small number of traditional images—mostly family—a large number of images made as they happen—without prompting—and a few of the inspired images that make it out of my head and into the camera. Images that were created for them—and for me.If you read this far you must be disappointed that it wasn’t that short!This blog will mainly be about images, with an occasional rant or rave thrown in—but short ones!
